Plans for 2022

For those who are wondering why there aren’t more chapters in the batch, I’ve actually been working on other Mitsudomoe projects and other commitments up to this point. That, and real-life stuff (as always 😓).

I’ve actually been contacted by surprise volunteers from m.3.3.w — yes, that m.3.3.w that worked on the Mitsudomoe Drama CDs from many years ago.

Thanks to them, all remaining untranslated Mitsudomoe Drama CD tracks now have a base translation, so all that remains is to polish those and put them in subtitle form. They also translated the hour-long “Mitsudomofest!” so we can finally get some closure as to what happened in Mitsudomoe’s final hours with its Japanese fans.

They’ve also graciously volunteered to help translate Kodomo Gakkyuu, Norio-sensei’s very first manga and predecessor to Mitsudomoe, so I’m looking forward to working on it as well!

I’m also planning to retranslate all the Mitsudomoe character songs that I did way back in late 2015 since my translation skills have improved a lot (that, and all the translation errors have been bugging me for years now 😅).

I also have a few secret Mitsudomoe projects that I’ve been trying to get off the ground for years now, and 2022 seems like a good year as any to finally get things going.

So all in all, we have a lot of stuff planned for 2022, so here’s hoping we get to pull most of them off.
