Well, translating this Chapter was relatively painless compared to the previous ones I had to go through… And I gotta say, I had a lot of fun translating this Chapter’s title — it’s a perfect pun!

Man, this chapter gave me a lot of trouble. It’s one thing to read handwritten Japanese characters, but ones written badly on purpose, yeesh… Anyway, I wanted to release this chapter yesterday as well, but the first page and the Yonkoma at the end really gave me a hard time. Here’s hoping the next chapter has less hard-to-read characters!

This chapter should be familiar to those who’ve seen the anime, particularly Episode 5 of Season 2.

I wanted to release this days ago, but I was having trouble with cleaning text over dark screentones without making the editing too noticeable. Thank goodness I discovered how to use Photoshop’s Clone Tool properly in time! That, and the Yonkoma gave me some slight problems again as well — good thing the Anime included the Yonkoma right after the episode; that made the whole thing go much smoother!

This chapter should be familiar to those who’ve seen the anime, particularly Episode 6 of Season 2.

I wanted to release this chapter yesterday, but the Yonkoma at the end gave me a lot of trouble. Man, I wish they would put Furigana even for these bonus pages, but since the author’s just free-handing them, it seems highly unlikely.

Again, if any of you wish to help, I’ll be uploading the RAW image files of the Yonkomas so you can translate them for me, and I’ll give you credit at the releases! It’s all this freehand stuff that really makes translating this awesome series troublesome. You can send me your translations at sunfishscans@gmail.com in Text (.txt), Word Document (.doc) or Photoshop (.psd) file formats.

Hi guys, I’ll be keeping this list of things I need some help with at the top of the site. All my releases can be found below this post. Currently, I’m looking for:

  1. Mitsudomoe (みつどもえ) Vol. 14 [RAW]
  2. Mitsudomoe (みつどもえ) Vol. 15 [RAW]
  3. Almost Weekly Mitsudomoe (ほぼ週刊みつどもえ) [RAW] (see here, and here) – a spin-off series featuring chapters that could not be published with the original series. Seeing how crazy Mitsudomoe already is, one wonders what even crazier stuff happens in the ‘director’s cut’ version of Mitsudomoe…
  4. (Optional) Kodomo Gakkyuu / The Violence School Gag (子供学級) Vol. 1-4 [RAW] (link) – this can be considered the ‘prototype’ of Mitsudomoe. In fact, the art style resembles Mitsudomoe Vol. 1 a lot. Also since it’s pretty short, I think it’s worth a while to translate — if you guys want me to.
