Hi guys, Floating Sunfish here with a quick update on our current direction.
With MangaDex currently being down for the time being, and with all upcoming chapters being the usual short length, I think now would be a good time to make another batch release. It’s been so long since anybody ever got to read multiple chapters in succession, so I think it would be a nice treat after the long delays we’ve been having.
UPDATE: We’ll wait a whole week after MangaDex becomes stable before we release anything so we don’t get swallowed by the sea of pent-up releases.
The next scanlation tutorial post has also been ready for a while now — I just haven’t had the time to publish it because I still need to manually reformat it for the site. It should also follow our upcoming batch release, so please look forward to it!
I also just finished clearing out my schedule so I’ll have more time to work on Mitsudomoe, which sadly took quite a hit due to work and other real-life commitments.

Hey been a little while was just looking for mitsudomoe vids and see the youtube channel got quite trimmed back, did you get a problem with the re-uploaded videos?
Such a shame most videos of the show have gone from youtube now.

Yeah, unfortunately, Sony’s been on a copyright-flagging spree all over YouTube, and not just for Mitsudomoe.
Our channel got two strikes, which expire on May 27, 2021. I plan to slowly bring the Mitsudomoe archive videos back while also uploading new ones, but it’s gonna be very slow so the copyright bot doesn’t flag three videos at once.
It’s a real shame, since most new fans discover Mitsudomoe through fan videos and other harmless edits. Sony should really lighten up.

Hey Sun, just wanted to ask how things are going? Mangadex has been up and running for a while now, so I went to the Mitsudomoe tab to see what I’ve missed since March. There hasn’t been any update since so I got a bit curious. Hopefully everything is going jim-dandy so we can get more of our beloved loli-misadventures!

I was actually going to make a Quick Update post today, but since you asked, I was actually waiting for MD (MangaDex) to become stable again so aggregate sites can properly leech our releases so they will reach more people. Currently, aggregate sites are reportedly having trouble mirroring releases, so that’s one of the main reasons I’ve been holding off for now.
Also, comments haven’t been added back yet, and I personally cherish each and every one we get, so I was really looking forward to seeing those again.
However, because MD doesn’t seem like it will become stable this year (I’m still hoping it does, though!), I have decided to make a batch release of whatever releases we have sometime during the holiday season. It will be sooner if MD becomes stable though.
