Update: What I’ve been up to

Hi guys, just dropping by to tell you guys what I’ve been up to recently so nobody thinks I’m dead. ๐Ÿ˜›

Career Change

First up is that I am currently in the process of quitting my job this month due to working conditions no longer being desirable. Hopefully I’ll be able to find a job that both pays well and gives me enough free time to continue working on this awesome series in the following weeks.

Other Translation Commitments

Recently I have found a pretty neat game library for my new favorite programming language, Golang.

I have contacted the Japanese author of said library and he has been kind enough to provide a Japanese manual that he wrote back in 2017. He and I are currently working closely together to get this manual translated to English, which we will release to the public free of charge.

What does all of this have to do with Mitsudomoe, you may ask? Well, let’s just say that if this pet project of mine ever comes into fruition, you guys will be doing more than just reading Mitsudomoe. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Translation of Volume 8

Yes, I am well aware that we still have 11 chapters to go before Volume 8 ends, and I am not going to stop scanlating the manga because of the things I have described above.

I plan to do both translation jobs in tandem so nothing gets left behind (although I am already 3 months late for the next chapter. Sorry about that. ๐Ÿ˜› ). I know it sounds crazy with my lackluster update schedule, but this is the best course of action from my perspective.

Welp, that’s all I wanted to say for now. Once again, I am terribly sorry for the lack of updates. I’ll be working on the next chapter real soon. I hope. ๐Ÿ˜›

Good luck with the job search. The stress must be killing you; well, it would be killing me.

If you’d like help, don’t hesitate to ask. I haven’t worked on Mitsudomoe since October, but I actually have free time now and I’d hate for it to go to waste. If it would be useful to have someone do translating and transcription, I’m open.

Oh, that would be awesome! I’d hate to impose, but it would indeed help speed things up immensely. ๐Ÿ™‚

If possible, can you provide transcripts for chapters 143 to 153? These are all remaining chapters for volume 8, and I’d love to wrap things up as quickly as I can so I can work on those scanlation tutorials.

No need to rush and force yourself though, as this is just a request. As always, I’d like to thank you and everyone for the tremendous support you guys do to help bring Mitsudomoe to the world.
