I told you the other day, Ex.65 proves Sugi-chan’s dad existence xD. Unfortunately, due the “censorship”, his face will be keep as a show’s mystery for some time more :-P.

Oddly, this seems to be the closest we get to him. He’s mentioned a lot, and you even see his brother in a later chapter of the main series, but you never actually see him. I guess that money has gotta come from somewhere.

Wow, and here I thought Sugi-chan’s character song was the only place he’s mentioned (much like Yabecchi’s mom, who we won’t be seeing for QUITE some time).
I wonder what his “quirk” will be, since no one’s ever been shown to be normal in this series. 😛

I have to ask, in 65, when Mitsuba says “I can’t go with you guys!”, does she mean Sugisaki doesn’t want to take her or Mitsuba doesn’t want to go?

I’m pretty sure it means that she knows Sugisaki’s family can’t actually accommodate her on a trip to Hokkaido. I’m sure Mitsuba would have loved to have gone, even with Sugisaki, if just for the seafood.

Mitsuba’s just being your standard tsundere who can’t admit that she’s wrong, so she pretends she has some other plans to make it look like she’s the one declining Sugisaki’s invitation, despite not having been invited in the first place.
Although I’m sure that with all the cash Sugisaki’s family has, they can afford to bring her along if they really wanted to — Mitsuba’s just being decent by not butting in on their family trip. At least, that’s what it looks like to me. 😛
