“Promise us you won’t forget! Thank you!”
And with that, another journey with the Mitsudomoe voice cast comes to a close. 🙂
This song always manages to make me both happy and sad at the same time — which is why I decided to make it the final song in the series. It’s very fitting, given how this series is bound to end in the future (which I hope won’t be for a LONG time). 🙂
Man, it’s almost been four months since I started working on these things (and *boy* were there a lot!), but I’m really glad I did it. I think it’s quite the achievement for the Mitsudomoe community as well! Thank you all for your patience with me up to this point! You guys rock! 😉
What puzzles me is how far they’ve thought-out this series — they even had a finale song and everything! That’s the kind of song that only long-runners like Urusei Yatsura and the likes can dream of — and I’m really glad Mitsudomoe decided to make it really memorable by throwing in subtle hints at every major character in the show.
I guess it couldn’t be helped that Yuki-chan never got a song since the show probably got cancelled around that point (which explains why she’s missing in the cover album where this song came from) but I guess all those songs about love sung by Atsumi Saori kinda make up for it. 😛 Anyways, happy listening! And don’t forget the tissues! 😉

Alright, time to get back to work on the manga! 😀
Floating Sunfish out!
Very fitting song to end on. I like all the references and especially Hitohas lines.
Grandma?! Was she going to introduced at some point in the series?

Yes, I believe there were plans to introduce her later on in the series. This is supported by the fact that every character referenced in the song was present in the anime adaptation at some point.
Although I’m not sure what chapter in the manga she first makes an appearance, I think it’s safe to say it would’ve been somewhere in the later episodes Season 2 — which is too bad, since I really wanted to hear what she would’ve sounded like. 😛

Not related to this song but I made contact with the person who owns Figures of Miyashita and Yoshioka. That I pasted here many months back.
She(or he?) said unfortunately that they were handmade. But was happy that there was love for Mitsudomoe abroad.
and then said something that roughly translates to “Eyebrows fly across the world” 🙂
So looks like if you want any figures that aren’t garage kits of the triplets. Or an official 2″ fig of Manga Mitsuba. We’ll have to modify Nendoroids like they did.

That’s a darn shame, but I guess it makes sense given the obscurity of the series nowadays. 😛
Still, those figs were pretty awesome though. 🙂

Ahaha… So true. XD They’ll always be crazy Class 6-3 students to me. 🙂
Oh, how I wish this series would never end.
