Now, I haven’t seen Haiyore Nyarko-san myself, but I’ve heard the intro, and I like to think they were going for a similar feel — or it could just be my imagination. 😛
Again, not quite as catchy as the others, but still a pretty good song. 🙂
(Also, am I the only one that thinks Hitoha is flat-out rejecting Yabecchi throughout the song? Aww, but I loved that ship! Just kidding. 😛 I’m probably just reading into it too much again. Ahaha…)

Nope, your reading between lines is pretty right here, because that’s how it was at first chapters in both manga and anime. But then “things happened” ™, and all that changed to how she is and she feels about Yabe actually. This song belongs to show starting timeline period.
