I always thought it was pretty funny she was making such a silly promise — then again, she was pretty open about admiring people with nice bodies anyway — That, and she’d probably really do it, too. 😛

By the way, this song really hit home because I did some chapters that were mentioned in the song — like the one where they go crayfishing by the town park — it really does feel sad to grow up, but at the same time it’s something we all have to do someday, and the way she chooses to just roll with it and be happy either way really makes you see her in a more mature light, rather than the usual air-headed ditz she’s know for. 🙂

Sharp honesty: When Futaba-chan says it, she says it!

Unlike her sisters who are always trying to protect their reputation and their looks, she doesn’t care about any of that, so she acts and says what she’s feeling or thinking. Her particular way makes everyone think that she is an air-headed ditz

Ofc checking unanimated and later manga chapters show how wrong are you. She actually is pretty self-aware of herself and her feelings, and very sharp honest. Also just like her sisters, Futaba-chan changed a lot from the first chapters and volumes. I wonder how many surprises she will bring to us in the future.

    “When I grow up, I can’t take a bath with Papa anymore?”…
You see, a little girl taking a bath with her dad is common stuff, don’t worry 😛

    From Kodomo no Jikan.

    Many thanks for translation.
