Mitsuba Character Song #1 V3 Released!

SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT: I’ve just created a Youtube channel for all the Mitsudomoe Audio Song translations! You can find it here. The URL’s complete gibberish at the moment, but if I get enough Subscribers, I’ll be able to change it to something easier to remember! I look forward to all your support! 😉

…And now for something completely different — a character song translation!

EDIT: This has now been updated to Version 3 which features the Subbing Standard Impress BT font and some translation patches. Enjoy! 🙂

I’ve always wondered what they were singing in these awesome songs, and thanks to the generous people who posted the Japanese lyrics on the internet, we no longer have to!

I was just messing around Windows Movie Maker this morning to see if it’d be possible to make a simple hardsub translation — and here is the result.

Oh, and I actually plan on doing 30 more songs before I continue translating more chapters — please let me know what you think, and any comments/suggestions for improvement will be greatly appreciated! Happy listening! 🙂

I’m still missing the following Audio CDs, so if you know where I can get them, please send me a link and I’ll translate anything I can!

  • Mitsudomoe Bonus CD 1 (info)
  • Mitsudomoe Bonus CD 3 (info)
  • Mitsudomoe Bonus CD 4 (info)
  • Mitsudomoe Bonus CD 6 (info)
  • Mitsudomoe Bonus CD 7 (info)
  • Mitsudomoe Zouryouchuu Bonus CD 3 (info)

What a nice surprise that you’re also covering Mitsudomoe song library!

Nice work you did with with one, and the pack is small enough to use them as audio-only tracks when you don’t have any screen around to read the lyrics. No real problems with the font that you choose, although i like more wider fonts for subtitles.

    Many thanks for the translation.
