Part of the joke here is that, from this chapter, you would deduce that Yuki and Futaba have the same hair color and body complexion, but actually in the manga/illustration designs there are several differences between them. Futaba is a little taller than Yuki, and Yuki developed a little more chest than Futaba. Also Futaba has red hair and Yuki has medium brown hair, hair style, their way to dress is very different, etc.
Yuki-chan behavior is quite understandable, after all them are in the age where little ladies are searching for their own identity, although shaving her eyebrows with a class shard was quite extreme xD. And the posterior hair regeneration… Some doujin-H artist exploited this specific joke in one of their books lolz… bot more details about that for now xD.

Yeah, usually misunderstandings in stories make me facepalm a lot or just generally upset, but for something so episodic, comedic and short, this type of plot works really well for this series. 🙂
